Just wanted to know what does it mean when other members state that their case is EB2 I, EB2 ROW, so on and so forth. How can i find out what is my case filed to? Thanks in advance.

Silverlight is the latest version of software.there are facing me some problem to use this like that,Seems like xml is not feeding in. Any pointers or suggested resources would be much helpful.

I had a 221g in 2000 and submitted all the docs. I got response in 2002 (After 2 years :eek:) . I had just 10 months left on my H1 that time. So we will never know. But situation in 2000 was different. I am not discouraging you but telling how hard these 221gs will be. I hope its not that bad these days and you may get response soon.

Hello Attorneys,
My company recently moved offices to a new location just a few miles from the old location. Its in an adjacent county but with in the same state. We moved from Northbrook, IL to Deerfield IL, does this warrant a change in LCA/H1B?
Please advise.

Most attorneys have historically advised to file ammendment to LCA in case of address change like this. Provided that job conditions same, (which is likely in your case as it is just a few miles away) ammendment should be easy.

Nobody can predict when the quota will fill up. However, note that there are wide spread rumors about the regular quota being used up as early as the first day and Masters within a few weeks. Its in your best interest to file as early as possible.
Here are the time lines for last year:
Regular Quota: May 26th, 2006
Master's Quota: July 26th, 2006

Hi guys,
I know lobbying takes money, but i am not sure how much we need.
I see lots of emails about funding going around, but i am not getting any idea of how much exactly is needed.
Can the admins post a funding drive! and set some target - say, "100000$ funding drive". If we have a target, we can pitch in money and try to meet that. If we fall short, we know how much we need more, so that people can make extra contributions.
Once again, this is just my random thoughts.

The New York Times today reports on a surgery that is heroic in scope. During the month of June, when the dates were announced in July Bulletin, that all the EB are CURRENT, we were prepared to apply. But my wife has some health issues and after the July2nd news, she left to India for Treatment. As per doctors now she can't travel till end of August. My questions are:
1) If I apply for my I-485, at what stage in I-485 can i add my wife as a dependant so she also gets her EAD and AP along with me?
2) Somewhere on the internet, I have seen that I can apply for my spouse's Green card 180 days after my Green card approval also as long as we were married before my I-485 was applied. Is this true? Can someone please confirm?
3) Curretnly my wife is on H-1B and she still has 5more years on it. Can I apply for her I-485 once the dates open up again?
Please advice as what are the best options?

Can this agency be any more incompetent? This will likely lead to lawsuits by those who were "mistakenly" notified that they were selected. Glad I didn't get a notice this year. I would be very upset.

Hi,
My H1B is with USCIS and my employer has received an intent to revoke.
I am planning to go on H4 and my questions are
1) Can my employer file for a new H1B ANYTIME regardless of whether my H1B is revoked or not? I heard that since i am already counted against the cap, it doesnt matter when the H1B is filed, once approved i could start work immediately. Is this true?
Or this can be done only till my earlier H1B is not revoked? And if revoked i will have to file H1B against the 2011 quota and start work from October?
Appreciate any response!!
