Silly question but I need an answer :)...How can I use Bill pay here? I bank with BOA and it asks for a company name if I choose bill pay...
Login to your bank account (This is for BoA)
Go to Bill Pay>>Payees>>Add a Payee
You will see two options
1)Pay a company
2) Pay an Individual
Click the GO button next to Pay an Individual (without entering any information)
In the next page
You will see a small form
Payee- is the name- in whose favor the check will be made
Nickname is for your reference
In Identifying information- you can put your handle
Rest is obvious
Payee creation is one time setup
Once you have created a payee
Go to Bill Pay>>Overview
and here you will see an option to make a payment
Login to your bank account (This is for BoA)
Go to Bill Pay>>Payees>>Add a Payee

Thanks sy. I fully agree it's the agent we deal with. My BOA loan coordinator is extremely stubborn & doesn't have any clue regarding immigration. From day 1 she is stuck on unexpired I-94 & till today she asks me to furnish that. Is it possible that I can contact you or any of your friends through email / phone & discuss to check where I am going wrong. I can furnish my contact details if needed.

I tried my best to attend the DC Rally, but sorry to say that I'm missing a great event. I'm trying to make it up by contributing a very small amount to DC Rally.($ 200 - Google Order #703505280174212 ).

Suing Attorney General, Goeff Gorsky head of VO opinions section at dept of state, Evelyn Upchurh of TSC
They have 60 day to reply from end March 07, then requested additonal 30 days which my immigration attorney agreed to for professional ethics.
So we were at 90 at end Jun 07 and the day before the lawyer for attorney engeral called my lawyer,
Apparently my case file is very thin and as of that Date Geoff Gorsky had not replied to his own attorney!! Their attorney has requesed yet another 30 days and stated on the phone to my lawyer that he wants a resolution to my sons case. For more info go to www.expatsvoice.org

It was naive for everyone, including those with PDs in 2006/2007 (and - here's the funny part.. even those who recently filed... ) to suddenly expect the tap to be flowing with full force and everyone's AOS being approved magically in the months of August and September 2008.
We have historical data about the USCIS' efficiencies - but for those who believed (and I'm not excluding myself here... ), it was probably a welcome break, full of hope. It was great while it lasted.
In the process, we've lost focus on the bigger goals - HR 5882 being one of them.
When things were "CURRENT", all we could think of was tracking LUDs and claiming superiority based on an earlier PD or a "U.S. Masters... ".
Again, it's time to take a hard look at past successes and failures, question why we're still in this country, and if you have no doubts about that - get back to the business of pushing for legislation, imho.

gimmeliberty, srinivas_o, x1050us, PKV4voice thank you so much. I was out for about a couple of hours and when I came back I saw all these contributions lined up. I cannot express the feeling I got. I was totally overwhelmed. After yesterday’s round, which took about 24 hours to close (estimation, I didn’t check), I was worried if we will be able to finish this round. But I am certain now that we will finish this round successfully. Of course, we will, if we have motivated people like you.

I dont get it for EB3 India. First they said once we get over the APR 01 hump we should be move quicker. Well guess what we DID get over that hump. Why the heck arent the dates moving at all for us?
this is surprising. really the dates should move- at least some. i keep thinking with each bulletin that EB3 will surely move now but it just has not happened. at this moment of course they have simply made it U. i wonder though if the dates will move when the october quota comes in.

I guess it's not a VERY GOOD IDEA THEN.
In all the docs that I went thru I could not see a difference between
"I-140 approved/I-485 pending and porting" and "I-140/I-485 pending and porting" (most docs refer to the latter).
I am guessing when it comes to "porting", both are the same in the eyes of USCIS??
(What I mean to ask is there any leniency with an approved I-140 and then trying to port?)
Anyone see otherwise?

Durbin also got one "favorable" amm. for us - another $1500 for each recaptured visa number. I believe after all expenses, and all time spended on the immigration and exams, majority of us could deal with that extra cost, or "bonus" if you like::))) So I hope that Durbin's amm. will calm down anti-immigrant forses and Cornin'n one will pass!

There is an I-131 LUD today from NSC and it says document mailed and that it will be delivered within 30 days.
My RD is 8/15, ND is 10/12. I guess the Processing Times (@ 9/30 as of Feb 15, 08) caught up.

Thanks for the idea. May I request you to please inform every one here, number of hours that you can spend volunteering for IV? I ONLY contributed DOLLARS, but never contributed TIME and I feel ashamed of that. There are many people who have contributed both dollars and time.
If you promise some time volunteering to IV for all the ideas that you listed, I am PROMISING to contribute DOLLARS for you. Are you ready? If so, please send email to IV core.

There are several ideas that are generated in the forum. But cannot find out who is leading it. All i am saying is if we can have a listing of initiatives with some names associated. Both me and My wife were really impressed by the excellent work IV has done and achieved. I have made a contribution (albeit small) in the past, and will very much like to sign up for recurring contributions. We pledge to contribute $50 monthly as soon as my Wife gets her EAD. We were intending to signup for $20/month right away, to upgrade to $50/month on getting her EAD but I do not see that option anymore.
Anyways, my pledge still stands effective on the day we receive my wife's EAD.
the $20/mnth was pulled a while back- hardly anyone was signing up for monthly contributions and everyone went for the lwoest amount. all in all a shameful situation. my humble suggestion- in a lumpsome, donate the amount equivelant to 20/mnth for the next 4 mnths ie $80, then when the EAD comes you can start recurring contributions.
